Industrialist Rajinder Gupta Takes Oath as Rajya Sabha Member from Punjab

New Delhi — Newly elected Rajya Sabha member and renowned industrialist Rajinder Gupta was sworn in as a Member of Parliament on Wednesday in New Delhi. The oath was administered by Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman C. P. Radhakrishnan in the Parliament House. Gupta took the oath in his mother tongue, Punjabi.

Rajinder Gupta, 68, is the Chairman of the Trident Group and was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha last month.
