New Delhi — Delhi Police uncovered an immoral trafficking racket running under the pretense of a spa in the Paharganj area, following a real-time alert received through the ‘Say Help’ safety app, officials said on Thursday.

The raid led to the rescue of six women and the arrest of a 36-year-old woman, who allegedly managed the illegal operation along with her husband.

According to the police, the alert was received on the intervening night of October 30 and 31, flagging suspicious activities at Galaxy Spa, located on the second floor of a building near Today Hotel on DBG Road, Nabi Karim.

Acting on the tip-off, the Central District Police launched a decoy operation. A police officer, posing as a customer, entered the spa with ₹2,000 in pre-marked notes and was instructed to confirm the offence by giving a missed call. Once the confirmation came at 7:25 pm, a police team swiftly raided the premises.

During the operation, police recovered ₹2,000 in marked currency and three sealed packets of condoms. The six rescued women, aged between 21 and 34, were from West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Nidhin Valsan.

Preliminary interrogation revealed that the spa’s female manager was running the illicit trade with her husband. A case has been registered under Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, at Nabi Karim Police Station.

The operation was made possible through the ‘Say Help’ app, an AI-powered, voice-activated emergency platform for public and women’s safety. The app provides real-time alerts using video, audio, and GPS data, ensuring rapid coordination between users, monitoring teams, and the police for swift intervention.
