WINDSOR, ONTARIO — The murder of prominent Punjabi-origin social media influencer Nancy Grewal has taken a chilling turn after a notorious gangster group claimed responsibility for the targeted attack in LaSalle, near Windsor. On Tuesday night, March 3, 2026, the 45-year-old YouTuber and personal support worker was brutally stabbed to death as she was leaving a client’s residence. The LaSalle Police Service has since confirmed that the homicide was an intentional and pre-planned act of violence rather than a random incident.
Gruesome details of the attack have emerged from Grewal’s mother, Shinderpal Kaur, who spoke from her home in Jalandhar. According to her account, Grewal was attacked by two unidentified men who stabbed her approximately 20 times in the abdomen. Her mother revealed that Nancy had been living under a constant cloud of threats and had even survived a previous attempt to set her home on fire in late 2025.
