Chandigarh: Dense fog continues to disrupt normal life across Punjab, slowing traffic movement and causing serious inconvenience to commuters. Poor visibility on highways and city roads has also led to a spate of road accidents in several parts of the state.
Amid these conditions, noted Punjabi actress Raj Dhaliwal was involved in a serious car accident caused by extremely low visibility due to heavy fog. According to available information, the impact of the crash was severe, leaving the front portion of her car badly damaged.
The actress herself confirmed the incident through a post on her Instagram account. In her message, Raj Dhaliwal warned people about the worsening fog conditions and advised them to step out only if absolutely necessary. She also urged the public to avoid travelling at night, especially during dense fog.
Explaining the circumstances of the accident, she said that she and her team were returning after a shooting schedule, as filming was set to resume the next day. However, visibility dropped to nearly zero due to the thick fog, which ultimately led to the mishap. She expressed gratitude, saying that by the grace of Waheguru, everyone in the vehicle survived the accident.
