Chandigarh: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has obtained a nine-day remand of Krishnu Sharda, a close aide of former Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, in connection with an ongoing bribery case.

Sharda, who was arrested by the agency in the same case, was produced before the court earlier today. While the CBI had sought a 12-day remand to continue interrogation, the court granted nine days instead.
