Mohali: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital, Mohali on Thursday after significant improvement in his condition, hospital authorities said.
Mann had been admitted on September 5, following complaints of exhaustion and a low heart rate. Medical bulletins stated that his vital signs had stabilized, with laboratory reports showing steady improvement.
Despite being in hospital, Mann remained active in managing state affairs. He held virtual meetings from his hospital room including a Cabinet meeting via video conference — to oversee flood relief efforts and to coordinate with senior officials about rescue operations.
Officials confirmed that Mann was discharged once doctors assessed his medical condition as sufficiently stable.
