Amritsar Police Bust Major Tramadol Supply Network, Seize 1.08 Lakh Tablets

Amritsar: In a significant crackdown, the Amritsar Rural Police have uncovered a large-scale supply chain of intoxicating pharmaceutical drugs, seizing 1,08,000 Tramadol tablets. During the operation, authorities arrested Jobanjit Singh, also known as Joban, who was traveling in a car, and recovered a Glock pistol with five live cartridges along with a mobile phone.

An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act and Arms Act at PS Beas. Police are conducting further investigations to trace the source of the contraband and dismantle the entire network through forward and backward linkages.

The Punjab Police reiterated their commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring a safe, drug-free state.
