HOSHIARPUR: Three men lost their lives and another was critically injured on Thursday morning after their motorcycle was struck by an unidentified vehicle in the Garhshankar area, police reported.
The accident took place near the Water Supply Office in Borha village while the four men were travelling from Sri Anandpur Sahib towards Garhshankar. Authorities said three of the riders died at the scene, and the fourth sustained serious injuries.
Police teams rushed to the location following the report and transported the deceased to the Civil Hospital in Garhshankar for post-mortem procedures. The injured man was admitted to the hospital and is currently receiving medical care.
Efforts are underway to locate the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
