Sri Muktsar Sahib: In a significant action against organized crime, the Punjab Police arrested two alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi network and seized a cache of illegal weapons from their possession.
According to officials, the arrests were made during a targeted operation by Sri Muktsar Sahib Police. The accused were found carrying four pistols of .32 bore, one pistol of .30 bore, along with five additional magazines.

Preliminary inquiries suggest that the duo was working closely with the Bishnoi syndicate and had been playing an active role in advancing the gang’s activities in the region. Authorities have said further investigation is in progress to trace the wider network and its facilitators.
Director General of Police, Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, while confirming the development, reiterated that the force is determined to break the backbone of organized crime in the state. “Our commitment is to dismantle such networks and safeguard the people of Punjab,” he said.
