Chandigarh: In a significant operation against organized crime, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab has arrested a suspected associate of gangster Arzoo Bishnoi, believed to be part of a wider inter-state criminal network.

According to officials, the accused has been on the radar of law enforcement agencies and is wanted in connection with a murder case registered in Rajasthan. A cash reward had also been announced for information leading to his arrest.

During the operation, police recovered a .32 bore pistol along with three live cartridges from the accused. Authorities believe the seizure could help uncover further details about the network’s activities and potential plans.

Investigators are now working to trace both backward and forward links associated with the accused, aiming to identify other members of the syndicate and dismantle the larger network.

Officials reiterated that Punjab Police remains focused on cracking down on organized crime and ensuring law and order across the state. Further inquiries in the case are ongoing.
