Jalandhar: In a remarkable display of consistency and shared dedication, twin brothers from Jalandhar have secured identical scores of 98% in the Class 10 board examinations, the results of which were announced on April 15.
Arsh Puri and Sparsh Puri, students of Apeejay School Mahavir Marg, have long been known for their close academic competition. Studying in the same class and section, the brothers have consistently performed at similar levels, often separated by just a mark or two in previous exams.
Speaking about their achievement, Arsh shared that friendly rivalry has always been part of their journey, with Sparsh occasionally edging ahead. This time, however, both ended up with exactly the same score, making the moment even more special for the family.
Coming from a medical background, the twins have set their sights on pursuing careers in medicine. Inspired by their parents, both expressed a strong desire to become doctors in the future.
Despite their academic success, the brothers stress the importance of maintaining balance. Active in sports, particularly basketball, they believe that enjoying studies rather than treating them as pressure is key to performing well. They credited their parents for fostering a supportive environment without imposing undue stress.
While they share many similarities, the twins also have individual interests. Arsh spends time playing chess, whereas Sparsh is inclined towards music and enjoys experimenting with instruments.
They also acknowledged the role of their teachers, noting that constant encouragement and guidance from the school played a crucial role in their success.
Their achievement highlights how discipline, mutual support and a positive approach to learning can help students excel while maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
