Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is set to achieve another milestone in his career, becoming the first Indian artist to headline major stadiums in Australia as part of his upcoming ‘AURA’ world tour.
The tour kicks off in Sydney at CommBank Stadium on October 26, followed by shows in Brisbane (October 29), Melbourne’s AAMI Park (November 1), Adelaide’s AEC Arena (November 5), Perth’s RAC Arena (November 9), before wrapping up in Auckland, New Zealand on November 13. This marks Dosanjh’s debut performances in Adelaide and Perth, in addition to return stops in other Australian cities after his sold-out ‘Born To Shine’ tour in 2023.
Fans can expect a revamped setlist featuring his biggest chart-toppers along with fresh tracks, accompanied by larger-than-life production and visual effects. Tickets will be available to the public through Ticketek from September 3, with an exclusive pre-sale beginning a day earlier.
Dosanjh, known for fusing traditional Punjabi sounds with contemporary global beats, has built an international reputation through hits like “Do You Know”, “G.O.A.T”, and “Proper Patola”. His performances at Coachella, the Met Gala, and the Billboard Summit, along with his acclaimed role in Netflix’s 2024 biopic Amar Singh Chamkila, have solidified his standing as a global cultural ambassador.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Dosanjh expressed his excitement: “The love I received from fans in Australia and New Zealand last time was unforgettable. That energy is why I’m returning, this time with even bigger shows. Adding Adelaide and Perth means I can celebrate with more of my fans. This tour isn’t just about music — it’s about showcasing Indian culture on the world stage.”
With the ‘AURA’ tour, Dosanjh continues to break barriers, taking Punjabi music and culture to audiences across continents, and making history along the way.
