Rohtak: The final rites of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sandeep are scheduled to be performed today in Julana, following the completion of post-mortem formalities. According to a statement made by Satyawan Lathar, a relative of the deceased, the family has given its approval for the post-mortem, which is set to take place earlier in the day.

“The post-mortem will be conducted today after the family’s consent. The cremation is planned around noon in Julana. We have no specific demands from the government,” said Lathar, speaking to reporters this morning, informing about ASI Sandeep’s autopsy and final rites.

This comes a day after the last rites of Y Puran Kumar following the post-mortem. His funeral took place on Wednesday amid an atmosphere of mourning.
