Samba: A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel was found dead inside a camp in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir early Monday morning, officials confirmed.
The deceased has been identified as Head Constable Hari Babu, a resident of Uttar Pradesh. According to officials, he was discovered hanging inside his post at a BSF camp located in the Penthi area of the district.
Following the incident, authorities shifted the body to a nearby hospital where a postmortem examination will be conducted as part of the legal procedures.
Officials stated that the exact reason behind the extreme step is not yet known. Police have initiated inquest proceedings and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
