New Delhi: Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Thursday evening after experiencing physical uneasiness. Following his admission, the 65-year-old senior leader underwent a series of comprehensive medical evaluations, including a coronary angiography procedure. Hospital authorities confirmed on Friday that Nadda is currently stable and remains under active observation in the hospital’s Department of Cardiology.
According to an official medical bulletin released by AIIMS, the minister was evaluated promptly upon arrival on the evening of August 13. The clinical team decided to conduct the angiographic assessment to monitor cardiac parameters after he reported discomfort. Doctors attending to the Union Minister stated that all necessary diagnostic checks have been administered, and his vital health indicators are responding satisfactorily under specialized care.
The hospitalisation occurred shortly after the conclusion of the Monsoon Session of Parliament on Thursday, during which Nadda was actively participating in legislative proceedings in his role as the Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha. Medical teams at AIIMS continue to monitor his progress closely to determine subsequent recovery protocols.
