Telangana: A deadly road accident on the National Highway near Booth Cross Road in Telangana’s Neradigonda mandal claimed two lives and left three others critically injured. The crash occurred when a private passenger bus collided with a lorry from behind in the early hours of Monday.
According to eyewitnesses, the impact was sudden and devastating. “We heard a loud crash followed by screams. When we reached the spot, the scene was terrifying. People were covered in blood and crying for help,” one witness recounted.
The bus, which was travelling from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, hit the lorry at around 3 a.m. The collision was so severe that the front portion of the bus was completely mangled. Two passengers died on the spot due to the force of the impact.
Three others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences for emergency treatment. Their condition remains critical.
Police and local residents arrived promptly and launched a rescue operation, pulling the injured out of the damaged vehicle and clearing the area. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
