New Delhi: SpiceJet has announced the launch of special daily non-stop Diwali flights connecting Ayodhya with Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad starting October 8, 2025. The airline said the new services will make it easier for devotees and tourists to visit the Shri Ram Temple during the festive season.

Flights from Mumbai are also being considered to enhance connectivity during the upcoming Diwali and winter travel rush. With these additions, SpiceJet aims to strengthen its domestic network and reaffirm its commitment to offering accessible and affordable travel options during peak festive periods.

Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer at SpiceJet, said, “There could be no better occasion than Diwali to visit Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. We are delighted to make travel to the holy city more convenient for devotees and tourists. Our new daily flights from major metros will ensure smooth and affordable access to Ayodhya during the festival.”

In a related development, SpiceJet recently announced new international services to Phuket, Thailand’s largest and most visited island. The daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai will begin on October 31 and November 6, 2025, respectively. This marks SpiceJet’s second Thai destination after Bangkok.

Highlighting the expansion, Maharshi added, “We are thrilled to include Phuket among our international routes. These new non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai will allow Indian travellers to easily explore Thailand’s stunning beaches and rich culture. This move strengthens our growing international network and reinforces our commitment to affordable global connectivity.”
