Nagpur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has announced that its highest decision-making body, the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), will hold its annual meeting in Samalkha, Haryana, from March 13 to 15, 2026. This year’s gathering carries significant weight as it coincides with the Sangh’s centenary year, marking a century since its inception in 1925. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Gram Vikas and Seva Sadhana Kendra in Patti Kalyana.
A central focus of the three-day deliberations will be the review and planning of major centenary initiatives. These include extensive community outreach programs such as the Vijayadashami Utsav and the Grihasampark mass contact campaign. The leadership will also evaluate the progress of “Panch Parivartan” (Five Transformations) a strategic roadmap focusing on social harmony, family values, environmental conservation, civic duty, and self-reliance.
The summit will see the participation of approximately 1,489 leaders, including RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, and the national executive body. Notably, the meeting is expected to host Nitin Nabin, the newly appointed president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), marking his first major presentation to the Sangh leadership since taking office in January.
Beyond organizational matters, the ABPS will deliberate on the current national scenario and is expected to pass resolutions on critical issues. Discussions are likely to touch upon ideological concerns, including the identification of undocumented immigrants and the expansion of the Sangh’s grassroots presence across various provinces. Additionally, the assembly will finalize the action plan for training programs like the Sangh Shiksha Varg for the upcoming year.
The gathering will also include representatives from 32 RSS-inspired organizations, ensuring a comprehensive coordination of efforts across different sectors of society. As the Sangh enters its 100th year, this meeting serves as a pivotal platform to consolidate its past achievements while drafting a forward-looking vision for the next century of its operations.
