New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat will embark on an international tour visiting the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom starting August 25. The visit follows invitations from various overseas local associations and aligns with the RSS’s ongoing global outreach initiatives during its centenary year celebrations.
As part of the United States leg of his itinerary, Bhagwat is scheduled to address a major gathering in New York City marking the festival of Raksha Bandhan. The event, titled the Universal Oneness Celebrations, is organized by the American Hindus for Engagement and Dialogue (AHEAD) Forum alongside numerous cultural, spiritual, and community organizations from across the country. According to event organizers, the gathering aims to promote civic responsibility, cultural dialogue, and global harmony, featuring cultural programs and addresses from prominent community leaders.
