Road Rage Turns Fatal: 22-Year-Old Shot Dead in UP’s Shamli After Minor Collision

Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: A 22-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by three unidentified assailants following a heated argument after his motorcycle brushed against another vehicle in Shamli district, police said on Thursday.

The incident took place on Wednesday in Goharpur village under the Adarsh Mandi police station limits. The victim, identified as Abhi, reportedly got into a confrontation with the आरोपी after the minor collision escalated into a dispute.

According to Superintendent of Police N P Singh, the accused allegedly opened fire during the argument, critically injuring the युवक. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

A complaint filed by the victim’s father, Sunil Kumar, stated that the altercation began after the motorcycle made contact with another vehicle, which quickly turned violent.

Police have registered a murder case and launched a search operation to identify and arrest the assailants. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination as part of the investigation.
