Puttaparthi: President Droupadi Murmu visited Puttaparthi on Saturday to take part in the birth centenary celebrations of revered spiritual figure Sri Sathya Sai Baba. She arrived at the Sri Sathya Sai Airport around 11 am, where Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and other senior officials welcomed her.
After her arrival, the President joined the Chief Minister at a special commemorative programme organised at the Poornachandra Auditorium. The event marked a significant moment in the ongoing centenary celebrations, drawing devotees and dignitaries from across the country.
The programme highlighted the life, teachings and humanitarian contributions of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, whose legacy continues to inspire millions. President Murmu’s presence added prominence to the ceremony, reflecting the national importance of the centenary events.
