Tianjin (China): Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit held in Tianjin, where he engaged with global leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
On the sidelines of the summit, PM Modi held informal exchanges with President Putin and President Xi, underscoring the importance of dialogue among SCO member nations.

Sharing highlights of his visit on social media, the Prime Minister wrote, “Always a delight to meet President Putin. Interactions in Tianjin continue! Exchanging perspectives with President Putin and President Xi during the SCO Summit.”

The summit brought together Heads of State and Government from across the region for deliberations on economic cooperation, regional stability, and security. A group photograph featuring PM Modi alongside President Putin, President Xi Jinping, and other leaders marked the day’s proceedings.
The SCO Summit is expected to focus on deepening collaboration across trade, energy, connectivity, and counter-terrorism initiatives.
