Thimphu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow over Monday evening’s deadly car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort, asserting that those responsible for the attack will face strict justice.

Addressing the public from Thimphu, Bhutan, Modi said, “Today, I come here with a very heavy heart. The horrific incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply saddened everyone. I understand the grief of the affected families. The entire nation stands with them today.”

The Prime Minister emphasized that the government is leaving no stone unturned in the investigation. “I was in touch with all the agencies investigating this incident throughout last night. Our agencies will get to the bottom of this conspiracy,” he stated.

PM Modi assured citizens of decisive action against the perpetrators, adding, “The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice.”

The Prime Minister’s remarks underline the government’s commitment to accountability and its focus on ensuring that the tragedy does not go unpunished. Authorities continue to probe the incident, examining surveillance footage, communications data, and other leads to identify and apprehend those involved.

The car blast near the historic Red Fort claimed 12 lives and injured several others, prompting an immediate security and investigative response across the national capital.

Modi’s statement comes as national and local agencies intensify efforts to track all possible links and ensure the safety of Delhi’s residents while bringing the conspirators to justice.
