Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday continued his interaction with students under the popular Pariksha Pe Charcha programme, offering guidance that went beyond examinations to focus on life skills, self-control and personal growth.
Speaking during the second episode of the annual initiative, the Prime Minister cautioned students against becoming overly dependent on digital tools. He encouraged them to remain in control of technology rather than allowing it to dominate their lives. According to him, while modern tools can be useful, unchecked dependence can weaken focus and creativity.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of discipline, noting that motivation alone cannot lead to success. He said that inspiration has little value if it is not supported by consistency, self-restraint and regular effort. True progress, he added, comes from cultivating good habits and staying committed to one’s goals.
Touching upon leadership qualities, PM Modi explained that effective communication is at the heart of being a good leader. He said the ability to express ideas clearly, even to a small group of people, is the foundation of leadership and helps build confidence and trust.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where the Prime Minister engages directly with students, teachers and parents to discuss exam-related stress, learning methods and broader life lessons. Over the years, the programme has become a platform for young learners to seek guidance on balancing academics with mental well-being and personal development.
