New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced key organisational appointments within its central leadership team under National President Nitin Nabin. Former Punjab finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal has been appointed as a National Vice-President, marking a significant advancement for the senior Punjab leader within the party’s nationwide hierarchy.
Alongside Badal’s elevation, Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has been entrusted with additional responsibilities as the In-charge of the party’s central headquarters in New Delhi. Chugh, who also hails from Punjab, will oversee administrative operations at the central office while continuing his broader organisational duties.
The dual appointments provide prominent representation to Punjab across key tiers of the party’s central machinery. This structural overhaul comes as the leadership focuses on strengthening its nationwide outreach, streamlining internal administration, and consolidating regional leadership across northern India.
