The Kerala (Alteration of Name) Bill formally amends the First Schedule of the Constitution to rename the state as “Keralam”. The National Co-operative Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill expands the operational mandate of the NCDC under the Ministry of Cooperation, enabling it to provide direct loans, grants, and equity financing to non-cooperative entities and statutory agencies involved in building cooperative infrastructure without requiring intermediary state government approvals.
