Students and job aspirants protesting against alleged irregularities in Jharkhand’s recruitment examinations took out a massive Tricolour March in Ranchi as the agitation reached its twenty-second day. Thousands of demonstrators carrying national flags marched from the main protest site at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium toward Albert Ekka Chowk, raising patriotic slogans and demanding systemic reforms across the state’s competitive examination framework.

Organized under the banner of the JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch, the demonstration called for complete transparency in government recruitment, the cancellation of disputed tests, and an independent inquiry conducted either by the Central Bureau of Investigation or an external panel of retired judges. Demonstrators highlighted that true independence encompasses freedom from systemic corruption, administrative injustice, and unequal opportunity, reaffirming their resolve to continue peaceful protests for public sector employment reforms.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha leader Devendra Mahto, who has been on a hunger strike for fourteen days, claimed that security authorities prevented him from leaving Sadar Hospital to participate in the march. Student leaders reiterated that their movement remains steadfast, emphasizing that the sustained mobilization across districts reflects growing demands for accountability in state-level recruitment.
