Four Family Members Killed in Late-Night Road Accident Near Surat

Surat: Four members of a family lost their lives after their van rammed into a stationary truck near Palsana in Gujarat’s Surat district in the early hours of Wednesday, police said.

According to officials, the accident occurred around 12:30 am when the van collided with a truck that had been halted on the roadside due to a punctured tyre. The victims were travelling from Mumbai to their hometown in Khambhat when the crash took place.

Police identified the deceased as Hozefa Adenwala (39), Murtuza Y Adenwala (45), Murtuza Z Adenwala (48), and Munira Adenwala (46). All four died on the spot due to the impact of the collision.

A police team from Palsana reached the site soon after receiving information about the incident. The bodies were later shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.

Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the accident.
