Every Inch of Pakistan is Within Range’: Rajnath Singh Issues Powerful Strategic Statement

Lucknow: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday lauded the success of Operation Sindoor, declaring that India’s defence prowess has advanced to a point where “victory has become a habit.” Addressing a gathering in Lucknow, Singh said the operation exemplified India’s growing military strength and technological dominance.

“Operation Sindoor has proven that victory is no longer a minor incident for us. Victory has become our habit,” the Defence Minister asserted. He made the remarks while flagging off the first batch of BrahMos missiles produced at the BrahMos Aerospace facility in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow, alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Lucknow unit of BrahMos Aerospace, the manufacturer of the supersonic cruise missile, has completed production at its new integration and testing facility, marking a significant milestone in India’s Make-in-India defence initiative.

Praising the Indian armed forces, Singh said India’s adversaries could no longer escape the range of its advanced missile systems. “Every inch of Pakistani territory is now within the reach of our BrahMos,” he warned, adding that Operation Sindoor was “just a trailer” of India’s capabilities.

“What happened in Operation Sindoor was just a glimpse. Pakistan now knows that if India could give birth to it, then I need not say what else we are capable of,” Singh remarked, drawing applause from the audience.

He also revealed that BrahMos Aerospace had recently signed export contracts worth ₹4,000 crore with two countries, further boosting India’s defence export potential. The minister projected that the Lucknow unit’s turnover would reach ₹3,000 crore in the next financial year, contributing about ₹5,000 crore annually in GST to the state exchequer.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who shared the stage with Singh, said the development marked “the foundation of a self-reliant India.” He noted that over 2,500 acres of land had been provided across six industrial nodes for defence manufacturing, creating 15,000 jobs in Uttar Pradesh.

“When 100 BrahMos missiles are produced every year—and the capacity increases to 150—the state will receive ₹150–200 crore in GST from these missiles alone,” Adityanath said, affirming the state’s commitment to defence innovation.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, and senior DRDO officials were also present at the event.
