New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party convenor Abhijeet Dipke launched the “School Thik Karo” campaign from his native village in Hingoli district, criticizing the government over the state of public education infrastructure and demanding a strict cap on private school fees. During an inspection of a local Zilla Parishad school in Santuk Pimpri, Dipke highlighted critical deficiencies in basic amenities, pointing to broken windows, an acute shortage of student benches, and toilets lacking a running water supply.

Under the new initiative, party volunteers plan to conduct extensive social audits across Maharashtra and other states using a standardized checklist to document the availability of essential facilities in state-run institutions. Dipke alleged that the neglect and closure of government-run schools over the last decade have disproportionately harmed children from rural and lower-income families while systematically favoring private educational institutions that charge exorbitant fees.

Expanding on the party’s upcoming roadmap, Dipke announced that a similar grassroots initiative would soon be launched to address infrastructural gaps and long wait times in public healthcare facilities. He called on rural youth and local village bodies to actively audit public infrastructure and demand greater accountability from state authorities regarding budget utilization for essential public services.
