New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the schedule for Classes 10 and 12 practical examinations for the 2025–26 academic session, along with tentative dates for theory exams. Students can view the full timetable on the official website — cbse.gov.in.

According to CBSE, winter-bound schools will conduct practical exams, project work, and internal assessments between November 6 and December 6, 2025. For all other schools across India, practical exams will commence from January 1, 2026. The board emphasized that these dates are final, and schools must complete all activities within the given timeframe.

The theory examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 will begin on February 17, 2026. Class 10 exams are expected to conclude on March 9, while Class 12 exams will continue until April 9, 2026. The exam timings for both classes will be from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. CBSE will soon release a detailed subject-wise date sheet.

For Class 12, practical exams will be conducted under the supervision of external examiners appointed by CBSE. Schools are required to upload marks for practical and internal assessments carefully, as once submitted, they cannot be altered. Additionally, all schools must prepare the List of Candidates (LOC) online to ensure smooth coordination.

CBSE has advised students and parents to frequently check the official website for updates, instructions, and any changes to the schedule.
