Pune: A 12-year-old girl, identified as the daughter of NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar’s personal assistant, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Baramati, located in Maharashtra’s Pune district, on Sunday. The deceased was the daughter of Ajit Dashavatare, who serves as a key aide to the legislator.
According to preliminary reports, the minor left her home in anger on Saturday following a domestic dispute with her mother over a minor issue. When she failed to return after several hours, her anxious family members approached local authorities and filed a missing person report.
Her body was discovered early Sunday morning in an open area near her residence in the Sainagar locality of Rui village, falling under the Baramati taluka jurisdiction. Emergency responders and police teams promptly secured the area and transferred the body to the Baramati Government Medical College and Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Senior police officials confirmed that an active investigation is underway, with forensic and investigative teams examining every angle to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the death.
