New Delhi: The high-level meeting between the Chief Ministers of Punjab and Haryana to discuss the contentious Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal issue has concluded, officials said.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attended the discussions alongside Cabinet Minister Barinder Goyal, while Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Shruti Chaudhary. Senior officials from both states were also present during the talks.
Details regarding the outcomes of the meeting have not yet been disclosed, but the session marked another step in ongoing efforts to address the long-standing dispute over water sharing between the two states.
