CHANDIGARH: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who also serves as the Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted to resolve employees’ issues, held crucial meetings today with various employee unions.
Considering the issues raised by the unions with empathy, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema directed the concerned departments to send proposals regarding the resolution of genuine demands to the Cabinet Sub-Committee.
He assured the union representatives that their legitimate demands would be addressed promptly, and is a key priority for CM Bhagwant Mann-led government. During the meeting, the Finance Minister held detailed discussions with the representatives of several unions, including the P.W.D.
During the proceedings, demands and issues were shared in detail by various representatives on behalf of their respective organizations. Representing the P.W.D. Field and Workshop Worker Union were Makhan Singh Wahidpuri, Baljinder Singh, Phumman Singh Kathgarh, and Balraj Singh.
