CHANDIGARH: During a special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led the House in paying homage to the unparalleled martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas—Baba Ajit Singh Ji, Baba Jujhar Singh Ji, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji, and Baba Fateh Singh Ji. The Assembly also remembered Mata Gujri Ji, Baba Jivan Singh Ji, Baba Sangat Singh Ji, Diwan Todar Mal Ji, and other martyrs, reaffirming Punjab’s legacy of resistance against tyranny.

CM Mann said that the supreme sacrifices of the Sahibzadas teach society never to bow before oppression and to stand firm for principles, even in the face of adversity. Highlighting their courage and moral steadfastness, he noted that these sacrifices continue to inspire future generations to uphold justice and human freedom.

The Chief Minister also shared that the Punjab Government ensured elaborate arrangements for devotees during the Shaheedi Sabha, including health facilities, transportation, sanitation, and security. He recalled that the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was observed with full devotion and dignity at Sri Anandpur Sahib, honoring the sacrifices of Sikh martyrs and their enduring legacy.
