Chandigarh: Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that the country’s distinguished Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has now served as Prime Minister one day longer than India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
Comparing the two eras, Anil Vij said that while Jawaharlal Nehru’s 12 years as Prime Minister represented a period of missed opportunities, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s 12 years have ushered in an era of rapid development, with significant progress across every sector of the country.
Anil Vij was speaking to media representatives today after a havan-yajna held at the Sanatan Dharma Temple in Ambala Cantt to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s longest tenure of 12 years.
He said that today the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed the longest period in office — 12 years — as an elected Prime Minister. He said that all BJP workers in Ambala Cantt offered prayers through a havan-yajna with devotion, praying that just as Sh. Narendra Modi has worked in the last 12 years across every sector and for every class while taking everyone along and earning everyone’s trust, so too may he continue to work for the country for a long time and lead the nation to new heights.
Also today, at the Sanatan Dharma Temple in Ambala Cantt, Anil Vij participated in the havan-yajna with BJP workers and prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long life.
