Newly appointed Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons and Members of Various Haryana Boards and Commissions Assume Office in Panchkula

Chandigarh: Haryana Social Justice, Empowerment, SCs & BCs Welfare, Antyodaya (SEWA) Minister, Krishan Kumar Bedi and Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, on Thursday formally administered charge to the newly appointed Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons and Members of the Haryana State Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Haryana State Social Welfare Board, Haryana Vimukat Ghumantu Jati Vikas Board and Haryana Kesh Kala and Kaushal Vikas Board at a ceremony held in Panchkula.

Those who assumed office included Ishwar Singh Plaka as Chairman of the Haryana State Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Bharat Bhushan Tak as Vice-Chairman and Members Sh. Mohit Valmiki, Jitender Valmiki, Smt. Rekha Rani, Sanjeev Gharu and Chandra Prakash Bosti. Captain Yogesh Bairagi took charge as Chairman of the Haryana State Social Welfare Board. Jasmer Singh Banjara assumed office as Chairman of the Haryana Vimukat Ghumantu Jati Vikas Board, while Ompal took charge as Vice-Chairman. For the Haryana Kesh Kala and Kaushal Vikas Board, Yashpal Thakur assumed charge as Chairman and Naresh Kumar Sain as Vice-Chairman.

Addressing the newly appointed office-bearers, Krishan Kumar Bedi urged them to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, dedication and a spirit of public service. He said that Haryana has witnessed remarkable progress in the field of welfare and empowerment of the underprivileged during the past twelve years.

Referring to social security initiatives, the Cabinet Minister said that while previous governments struggled with irregularities in the distribution of old-age pensions, today benefits are being transferred directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries, ensuring transparency and accountability.

He further emphasized that the people of Haryana have high expectations from the newly appointed functionaries and called upon them to make public service their foremost priority. He urged them to work tirelessly to fulfil the aspirations of the people and contribute meaningfully to the state’s development and welfare agenda.

Krishan Lal Panwar expressed gratitude to Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini for appointing individuals with strong grassroots connections to these important boards. He said he was confident that the newly appointed Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons and Members would play a vital role in extending the benefits of the government’s welfare schemes to the last person in society and ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the assistance intended for them.

Deputy Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Krishan Lal Middha, Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Ajay Kumar, Member Secretary, Haryana Vimukat Ghumantu Jati Vikas Board, Vivek Padam Singh, State In-charge, Dr. Satish Poonia, State General Secretary Surender Poonia, State Vice-President, Banto Kataria, former State President, Mohan Lal Badoli and several other distinguished dignitaries also remained present on this occasion
