Chandigarh: Newly appointed Chairman of the Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank Limited (HARCO Bank), Bharat Bhushan Juyal, formally assumed charge. On the occasion, Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana, MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora, former Minister, Kanwar Pal Gujjar and HARCO Bank Managing Director, Dr. Prafull Ranjan extended their best wishes to the new Chairman.
After assuming office, Bharat Bhushan Juyal said that HARCO Bank has been playing a significant role in the economic empowerment of farmers, cooperative institutions, self-help groups, and rural as well as urban customers across the state. He said that carrying forward the bank’s rich legacy and providing better and modern banking services to customers would remain his top priority.
He emphasized that special focus would be laid on promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the bank’s functioning, along with expanding digital banking services. Effective measures would also be taken to ensure easy access to credit and financial services for farmers, youth, women, and small entrepreneurs.
Bharat Bhushan Juyal called upon the bank’s officers and employees to work with dedication and team spirit to take HARCO Bank to new heights. He expressed confidence that collective efforts would further strengthen the functioning of cooperative banks and enhance customer trust.
Bank officials present on the occasion assured the Chairman of their full support and expressed confidence that under his leadership, HARCO Bank would set new benchmarks of excellence in the cooperative banking sector.
Bharat Bhushan Juyal also thanked Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma, members of the Board of Directors, and all stakeholders for reposing faith in him. He reaffirmed his commitment to working with sincerity and dedication for the overall development of the bank and the strengthening of the cooperative movement.
