Shimla: A group of 27 HAS and Allied Services probationers of batch-2026 called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today. They were undergoing foundation course at Dr. Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration, Shimla.
It was a courtesy call. During interaction with the probationers, the Chief Minister said that the HAS and Allied Services officers have a pivotal role in implementing the policies and programmes of the state government in a true spirit. He asked them to dedicate themselves to serve the people with missionary zeal and sincerity.

He said that the present state government was committed to provide transparent, responsive and good governance to the people and they must come up to the aspirations and expectations of the masses by resolving their grievances with utmost priority.
“Young officers are the future of the State and custodian of State’s resources. It is your responsibility to safeguard the interests of the people of the State”, said the Chief Minister.
Sukhu called upon the officers to ensure that the benefits of various welfare schemes being implemented by the state government must reach to every eligible beneficiary in a time bound manner and transparent manner without any discrimination and unnecessary delays. He also stressed the importance of adopting a people centric approach and working with utmost dedication to fulfill the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and social welfare.
Chief Secretary K.K. Pant, Director, Dr. Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration Rupali Thakur and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
