Government to provide Rs. 6 crore for bridge construction
Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, during his visit to the Rohru Assembly constituency today, visited the Tangnu-Janglik Panchayat area. He inspected the Janglik road, which was blocked due to a recent landslide and took stock of the situation in the area.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to restore the Janglik road for vehicular traffic within ten days. He said that the closure of the road was causing difficulties for local residents as well as horticulturists and that the government would ensure its early restoration.

The Chief Minister announced an additional four crore rupees to expedite the work on the under-construction Janglik bridge. In addition, he announced two crore rupees for the area affected by the landslide in Thaintwadi village.
The Chief Minister said that the state government was committed to restoring normalcy in disaster-affected areas and providing necessary relief and facilities to the affected people. He also directed officials to expedite relief and restoration works.
