Chandigarh: A meeting of the Working Committee was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Haryana’s Urban Local Bodies Minister, Vipul Goel, at his office in the Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh. The meeting discussed in detail proposals related to the approval of tender rates for various development and public amenity works in different urban local bodies.
The meeting considered a proposal related to solid waste management for a period of three years in the Municipal Corporations/Municipalities of Hisar, Hansi, Barwala, Uklana, Narnaund and Siwani. Proposals concerning door-to-door collection of solid waste in Naraingarh and Barara Municipality were also included in the agenda.
The meeting also discussed proposals for the construction of a children’s park in Palwal under the Divya Nagar Scheme and the construction of a digital library in the old office building of the Municipal Committee, Meham.
