Chandigarh: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s visit to Singapore, aimed at further strengthening Haryana’s identity on the global investment map, concluded with significant achievements. During the visit, various companies and institutions agreed to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) for investment proposals worth approximately Rs 5,500 crore in Haryana.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the Singapore visit would prove instrumental in strengthening the resolve of ‘Viksit Haryana-Viksit Bharat’. The growing interest of global investors in Haryana reflects that the state is rapidly emerging as a reliable and attractive destination for investment, innovation and industry.
Rs 3,000 Crore Investment in Health & Wellness Sector
During Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s Singapore visit, investment proposals worth approximately Rs 3,000 crore were agreed upon in the health and wellness sector. The proposed investments are expected to boost the development of state-of-the-art hospitals, healthcare centres, wellness facilities, medical research and expansion of modern technologies in the healthcare sector in Haryana.
The Chief Minister said that a healthy society is the foundation of a developed society. The state government is continuously working to provide quality, accessible and modern healthcare services to every citizen. Investment in the health and wellness sector will not only strengthen healthcare facilities but also create opportunities for employment, skill development and adoption of new technologies in the medical sector.
The Chief Minister said that the biggest strength of a developed Haryana would be its young and skilled human resources. Singapore’s advanced education system, technical expertise and skill-based training can provide wide-ranging benefits to students and youth in Haryana.
