Cabinet Minister Krishan Lal Panwar Calls Saint’s Teachings a Pillar of Inclusive India
Chandigarh: Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Krishan Lal Panwar on Thursday said the teachings of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji continue to guide the nation towards social harmony, equality and an inclusive, developed India.
Addressing a gathering at the Ravidas Temple in Madlauda, Panipat district during the Kalash Vandan Yatra, taken out from Varanasi to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ravidas Ji, the Cabinet Minister said Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality, justice and humanity remains relevant in contemporary society and inspires millions across the country.
Krishan Lal Panwar said the Centre Government, under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has undertaken several initiatives to honour the legacy of saints and social reformers. He described the yatra as a movement to strengthen social harmony, national unity and the values espoused by Guru Ravidas Ji.
He said the Haryana Government, under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, remains committed to ensuring dignity, equal opportunities and inclusive development for every section of society. MLAs, Devender Kadyan and Krishan Lal Middha also remained present on this occasion.
