Chandigarh: Haryana’s Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that sports provide young people with an opportunity to move forward with discipline, perseverance and team spirit.
Minister Rao Narbir Singh was addressing the players after inaugurating the 7th Rama Atray Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament at the Cricket Stadium in Sector 16, Chandigarh, on Tuesday.
During his address, Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh appreciated the work being undertaken by the J.P. Atray Memorial Cricket Society (Registered), Haryana, for promoting cricket for nearly 30 years.
The Cabinet Minister called upon young people to make sports a part of their lives, remain disciplined and focused on their goals, and stay away from drugs and other harmful habits. He urged them to channel their energy and talent towards building a better future.
