Cabinet Minister announces Rs. 21 lakh grant for Guru Daksh Prajapati Sabha Dharamshala
Chandigarh: Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister, Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that the primary objective of celebrating the birth anniversaries of great personalities is to imbibe their ideals and follow the path they showed. Their teachings inspire the younger generation, while such commemorative events also acquaint them with the lives, values and contributions of these eminent personalities, helping them remain connected with the country’s culture, traditions and moral values, he said.
The Cabinet Minister was addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest at the Guru Daksh Prajapati Jayanti celebration organised by the Prajapati Samaj at the Guru Daksh Prajapati Dharamshala in Kurukshetra on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Cabinet Minister laid the foundation stone of an educational institution to be constructed by the Prajapati Sabha on Dhand Road. He also announced a grant of Rs. 21 lakh for the Prajapati Sabha, Kurukshetra. The Maharaja Daksh Prajapati Jayanti celebrations were marked with great enthusiasm and fervour at the Kurukshetra Prajapati Dharamshala.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister urged people never to lose the spirit of hard work, saying that success in life can only be achieved through dedication and perseverance. He stressed that prosperity can be attained only by remaining rooted in the country’s cultural values while embracing the spirit of hard work.
He also appealed to society to ensure a safe environment for daughters. Emphasising that education is the strongest instrument for social progress, he said the proposed educational institution would provide better opportunities for higher education to children of the region and open new avenues for employment.
Ranbir Gangwa said the State Government is committed to the welfare and upliftment of every section of society. He added that social service initiatives would be further strengthened through religious and social organisations. He also called upon the Prajapati community to play an active role in promoting education, healthcare and social harmony.
Guru Daksh Prajapati gave the message of duty, righteousness and social harmony. The Cabinet Minister said that a prosperous and self-reliant society can only be built when people remain connected to their cultural roots and uphold the value of hard work. Guru Daksh Prajapati, he said, placed duty and righteousness above all else throughout his life, and his ideals should continue to inspire society.
Ranbir Gangwa said Guru Daksh Prajapati propagated the values of duty, righteousness and social harmony. His life teaches that both education and moral values are essential for the progress of society. He noted that the Prajapati community has always played a significant role in nation-building as well as in the development of the State. Through their traditional pottery craftsmanship, members of the community have not only earned their livelihood with dignity but have also preserved the country’s rich cultural heritage, he said.
He further said that the Government is celebrating the birth anniversaries of great personalities at the official level to take their ideals and teachings to every section of society. Such events, he added, instil pride in the younger generation about their history and cultural heritage.
