Chandigarh: In a move aimed at clearing the backlog of applications under the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024, the Haryana Government has extended the deadline for verification of pending applications by Heads of Departments (HoDs) till August 15, 2026, while directing all departments to expedite the process. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has instructed all Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments to ensure that the verification exercise is completed within the extended period.

The decision has been taken to provide additional time for completion of the verification process, ensuring smooth and timely implementation of the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024 and enabling all eligible contractual employees to avail its benefits.

To facilitate faster disposal of cases, the Human Resources Department has already uploaded a comprehensive user manual on the portal for DDOs and Heads of Departments. Departments encountering login or technical issues have been directed to coordinate promptly with the Human Resources Department or HKCL for resolution.
