Chandigarh: Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Gaurav Gautam, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is working with full commitment for the overall development of sports and sportspersons. He added that the Haryana Government is consistently promoting sports.
The Minister was interacting with people after inspecting the site of the proposed sports stadium at village Badkoda–Bargaon in Narnaul. Gautam said that to further enhance sports facilities, a grand district-level sports stadium will be constructed on approximately 14 acres of land in village Badkoda–Bargaon.
He stated that international-level sports infrastructure is being expanded across the state and that Haryana’s players are making the country proud on the global stage.
During the inspection, the Minister directed officials to ensure that the construction of the 14-acre stadium is completed in a time-bound manner with high quality standards.
He added that once completed, this stadium will provide modern training facilities not only to Narnaul but to emerging players from the entire district, enabling them to win medals for the country in the future.
On this occasion, former Minister and Narnaul MLA Sh. Om Prakash Yadav, District Sports Officer Narendra Kundu, and other dignitaries were present.
