Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 14 development projects worth Rs 60 crore at Diargi during his one-day tour to Mandi district today.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Rs 25.99 crore up-gradation of the Shimla-Mandi road via Tattapani (Chail Chowk to Baggi portion) under NABARD, the Rs 6.96 crore Nehra to Fagoh via Kuthal, Bagla, Lower Natan road and motorable bridge over Kansha Khad under NABARD, Rs 2.75 crore PWD Rest House at Dhanotu, the Rs 12 lakh Patwar Khana building at Chamyar in tehsil Balh, Rs 14 lakh Apna Pustakalya (Library) at Gram Panchayat Kotli, Rs 55 lakh PWD Junior Engineer Office-cum-Residence at Jach (Jhungi), Rs 37 lakh Community Centre at Nichali Behli, Rs 38 lakh each Community Centres at Jacch and Fangwas, and the Rs 8 lakh Library at Gram Panchayat Pandoh.
He also inaugurated the Rs 3.08 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme to a group of panchayats (Chowk, Mahadev, Upper Behli, Chambi, Palahota, Jai Devi and Balana) in tehsil Sundernagar, the Rs 3.14 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme to partially covered habitations of Dhaban and Tanda in Gram Panchayat Dhaban and Lohara under Jal Jeevan Mission in tehsil Balh and the Rs 11.57 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme to various villages of Gram Panchayats Sainj and Nandi in tehsil Chachiot under Jal Jeevan Mission.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of the Gadog Nallah to Barnog road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.67 crore.
