Mohali: Popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda continues to battle for his life at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, six days after suffering severe injuries in a bike accident near Pinjore, Haryana. According to medical staff, his condition remains critical, with no signs of improvement despite intensive care and continuous ventilator support.
Doctors monitoring Rajvir’s case have issued five medical bulletins so far, each reflecting the same grim status—his neurological response remains minimal, and he has not regained consciousness or spoken since the incident.
Hospital sources say Rajvir is being closely attended to by a team of specialists from the neurosciences and critical care departments. He remains on life support, and while vital signs such as heart rate have stabilized, brain activity remains dangerously low.
The accident, which occurred earlier this week, resulted in serious head and spinal injuries, prompting his immediate transfer from a local civil hospital to Fortis’s intensive care unit. Doctors had initially considered surgical intervention, but the extent of his injuries and ongoing instability have complicated that decision.
The severity of his condition has sent shockwaves through the Punjabi entertainment industry and beyond.
