Ludhiana: Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla has officially cancelled his upcoming tour stops in Ludhiana and Lucknow, scheduled for April 10 and April 12, respectively. The decision, cited as being due to “logistical challenges,” comes amidst a wave of criticism following his recent Mumbai performance where fans complained of severe mismanagement, overcrowding, and heat-related medical emergencies.
While the singer has not issued a direct personal statement, ticketing platform District has confirmed that the events have been removed from its listings and that a full refund process is underway. Fans can expect their money to be credited to their original mode of payment within 5 to 7 business days.
Reasons behind the cancellations:

Administrative Hurdles: In Lucknow, local officials confirmed that the show faced multiple obstacles, including a failure to procure necessary liquor licenses and venue conflicts with scheduled local sports matches.

Financial Viability: Reports suggest that the Lucknow event struggled with revenue break-even points, likely due to “overpriced” premium tables costing several lakhs, which resulted in the show not being a sell-out.

Quality Control: Sources within the organizing team indicate that after the “Mumbai fiasco,” Aujla and his management are prioritizing better-organized venues to ensure fan safety and experience, leading to the postponement or cancellation of cities where arrangements were not up to mark.
Tour continuation and “Mumbai 2.0”
Despite these setbacks, the “P-Pop Culture India Tour” remains active. The singer is set to perform at the JECC Ground in Jaipur on April 5, 2026, where tickets ranged from ₹1,999 to nearly ₹6 lakh for VIP experiences. To make amends with his Mumbai fanbase, Aujla has also announced a special “Mumbai 2.0” show at the Mahalaxmi Race Course on April 12, which is reportedly being offered for free to those who held tickets for the original March 3 performance.
The tour, which began in Delhi on February 28, has been one of the most anticipated musical events of the year, though it now faces increased scrutiny over ground-level management and ticket pricing.
